I’m not mad at the scroll. ESPN has used it for years, so I suppose I’ve grown used to it.

It’s been off and on for the last couple of weeks. It needs to be off forever.

Today is the first day I’ve seen it, and I hate it.
Having the comments infinite scroll could be useful, but scrolling into articles (and past the more comments button) is just annoying.

There used to be an “all replies” button that would let me CTRL+F to see if anyone else already said what I wanted to comment. I’d rather give them a star and contribute to their conversation than steal their thunder with a thread of my own.
Before Infinite Scroll, I could get around this by pressing the “END” key to scroll to the bottom, while hovering my mouse over the “more replies” button. A few seconds of *end* *click* *end* *click*... and I’d eventually have all the replies open.
I’m far less likely now to find a good comment that I could help un-grey.

Today is the first time it’s been consistent for me.

The widening adoption of a bad practice doesn’t turn it into a good one.
